Savory spaghetti tossed with seasoned ground beef, garlic, ginger, and soy sauce for a comforting fusion dish ready in about 30 minutes.

12 ounces spaghetti
1 pound ground beef
3 cloves garlic minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/4 cup reserved pasta water
2 green onions sliced
Optional shredded carrots or bell peppers

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.

  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat and drain excess fat.

  3. Add garlic and ginger and cook briefly until fragrant.

  4. Stir in soy sauce and brown sugar and simmer gently.

  5. Add vegetables if using and cook until tender.

  6. Toss in drained spaghetti and a splash of pasta water.

  7. Drizzle sesame oil and mix thoroughly.

  8. Garnish with green onions and serve warm.

Notes

Use low-sodium soy sauce for better salt control.
Add pasta water gradually for desired sauce consistency.
Reheat with a small splash of water to refresh texture.
