Bang Bang Chicken features crispy chicken bites coated in a creamy, spicy-sweet sauce made from mayo, chili sauce, and sriracha — perfect for rice bowls, wraps, or appetizers.
1½ lbs boneless chicken breast or thighs, cubed
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
¾ cup cornstarch
Oil for frying
Sauce:
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup sweet chili sauce
1–2 tbsp sriracha
1 tsp honey (optional)
1 tsp lime juice (optional)
Garnish: Green onions, sesame seeds
Season cubed chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder.
Toss with cornstarch until evenly coated.
Heat oil in skillet. Fry chicken in batches 3–4 minutes per side until golden. Drain.
Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
Toss chicken in sauce or drizzle over top. Garnish and serve immediately.
Air fry for a lighter version. Serve with rice, lettuce wraps, or noodles. Adjust sriracha for desired spice level.
