This Chicken and Broccoli stir-fry is a quick and healthy dish featuring tender chicken, crisp broccoli, and a savory garlic sauce — all ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, thinly sliced

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp oil (vegetable or peanut)

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (for marinade)

  • 1 tsp cornstarch (for marinade)

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1/4 cup chicken broth or water

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1 tsp cornstarch

Instructions

  • Marinate chicken with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp cornstarch, and sesame oil. Let sit 10–15 mins.

  • Blanch broccoli for 1 minute. Drain and set aside.

  • Whisk together sauce ingredients.

  • Sear chicken in oil until golden and cooked. Remove.

  • Sauté garlic in same pan. Add chicken and broccoli back in.

  • Pour sauce over and stir until thickened.

  • Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Add chili flakes for heat. Use tamari for gluten-free. Store leftovers for up to 4 days in the fridge.
