This Chicken and Broccoli stir-fry is a quick and healthy dish featuring tender chicken, crisp broccoli, and a savory garlic sauce — all ready in under 30 minutes.
1 lb chicken breast or thighs, thinly sliced
2 cups broccoli florets
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp oil (vegetable or peanut)
1 tbsp soy sauce (for marinade)
1 tsp cornstarch (for marinade)
1 tsp sesame oil
Sauce:
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1/4 cup chicken broth or water
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp cornstarch
Marinate chicken with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp cornstarch, and sesame oil. Let sit 10–15 mins.
Blanch broccoli for 1 minute. Drain and set aside.
Whisk together sauce ingredients.
Sear chicken in oil until golden and cooked. Remove.
Sauté garlic in same pan. Add chicken and broccoli back in.
Pour sauce over and stir until thickened.
Serve hot over rice or noodles.
