Creamy Pesto Chicken Pasta Bake is a comforting oven-baked dish made with tender chicken, pasta, basil pesto, cream, and melted cheese.

2 cups cooked chicken chopped
1 cup basil pesto
1 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Optional red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. Cook pasta until al dente and drain.

  3. Cook chicken in olive oil until done, then chop.

  4. Mix pesto and heavy cream in a bowl.

  5. Toss pasta and chicken with pesto cream mixture.

  6. Transfer to baking dish and top with mozzarella and Parmesan.

  7. Cover and bake 20 minutes, then uncover and bake 10 to 15 minutes more.

  8. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
