Juicy Greek Turkey Meatballs made with fresh herbs, garlic, and lemon zest, served with a creamy homemade tzatziki sauce — perfect for a fresh, healthy Mediterranean meal.

Ingredients

For the Meatballs:

  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • ¼ cup grated onion

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 egg

  • ⅓ cup breadcrumbs or almond flour

  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped

  • 1 tbsp dill, chopped

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • Zest of 1 lemon

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Optional: ⅓ cup crumbled feta

For the Tzatziki:

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt

  • ½ cucumber, grated and drained

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp fresh dill

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Make tzatziki: Combine all ingredients and chill.

  • Mix meatball ingredients in a bowl. Form into 1½-inch balls.

  • Bake at 400°F for 18–20 minutes or pan-sear until golden and cooked through.

  • Serve warm with tzatziki and desired sides.

Notes

Make gluten-free with almond flour. Add chopped spinach or olives for variation.
