Ground Beef and Potatoes is a hearty skillet meal made with seasoned beef, crispy potatoes, onions, and garlic. It’s a comforting, budget-friendly dish that comes together in one pan.
1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
1 pound ground beef
3 medium potatoes, diced
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: parsley or chives for garnish
Dice potatoes into ½-inch cubes.
In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain fat and set aside.
In the same skillet, heat oil or butter. Add potatoes and cook 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and tender.
Add onion, cook 3–4 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute more.
Return beef to skillet. Add paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
Cook 2–3 more minutes to blend flavors.
Garnish and serve hot.
