1½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 egg, beaten
1 cup cornstarch
Oil for frying
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup honey
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar or lemon juice
Optional: sesame seeds, green onions for garnish
Cut chicken into bite-size pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
Dip in beaten egg, then dredge in cornstarch.
Fry in 350°F oil until golden and crispy (4–5 mins). Drain.
In a clean pan, sauté garlic in 1 tbsp oil. Add honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Simmer 1–2 mins.
Toss fried chicken in sauce to coat evenly.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot.
