These Philly cheesesteak sloppy joes are the ultimate fusion — saucy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. A fast and family-friendly dinner ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (85–90% lean)

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1 green bell pepper, diced

  • 1 yellow onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup ketchup

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ cup beef broth

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 6 slices provolone cheese

  • 46 hamburger buns or sandwich rolls, toasted

Instructions

  • Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and bell pepper; sauté 5–7 minutes.

  • Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds more.

  • Add ground beef, breaking it up as it browns. Cook until no longer pink. Drain excess grease.

  • Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and broth. Simmer 3–5 minutes.

  • Add provolone slices on top, let melt, then stir until creamy
