Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles are sweet, savory, and full of umami flavor—made in 30 minutes with tender chicken, a sticky soy-garlic glaze, and chewy noodles.
1 lb chicken thighs or breasts, sliced
1 tbsp soy sauce (for marinade)
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp oil (for cooking)
8 oz noodles (lo mein, egg noodles, or spaghetti)
2 cups mixed vegetables (bell pepper, carrots, snap peas, etc.)
Sauce:
¼ cup soy sauce
3 tbsp honey
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tsp sesame oil
4–6 cloves garlic, minced
Optional Garnishes:
Sliced green onions
Sesame seeds
Chili flakes
Marinate sliced chicken with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp cornstarch, and pepper. Set aside 10 minutes.
Whisk sauce ingredients together in a bowl.
Cook noodles according to package, then rinse and set aside.
In a skillet, heat oil and cook chicken 4–5 minutes until browned. Remove.
Stir-fry vegetables for 2–3 minutes.
Return chicken to pan. Add sauce and simmer until thickened.
Add noodles and toss to coat.
Serve with green onions and sesame seeds.
Store leftovers up to 3 days. Use tofu for a vegetarian version. Adjust sugar and spice to taste.
