Soft flatbread served with creamy butter chicken in a spiced tomato sauce for a warm and comforting meal.

Ingredients

500 g chicken thigh or breast
100 g yogurt
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp oil
3 garlic cloves
1 tsp ginger
200 g tomato puree
100 ml cream
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp coriander
1 tsp garam masala
Salt

Instructions

  • Coat chicken with yogurt and spices.
  • Rest chicken for flavor absorption.
  • Cook chicken in heated pan with oil.
  • Remove chicken after light browning.
  • Melt butter in pan.
  • Cook garlic and ginger.
  • Add tomato puree and stir.
  • Return chicken and simmer.
  • Add cream and adjust seasoning.
  • Warm flatbread.
  • Serve chicken over flatbread.

Notes

Keep heat low when cream is added. Flatbread should stay soft at serving. Sauce can be prepared in advance.
